Vino Farms - Family-Owned Sustainable Wine Grape Grower in California

Vino Farms was founded by Keith Ledbetter in the 1970s during California's wine industry revival. Prior to this, it initially cultivated 1,200 acres in Lodi. Over time, Vino Farms expanded into Sonoma County and other wine regions. This expansion has built a family legacy centered on winegrape farming and sustainability.

Today, Vino Farms manages 17,000 acres across multiple California regions, including Napa, Monterey, and Santa Barbara. The company was involved in the creation of the Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing, and incorporates practices such as biodiesel tractors and solar-powered irrigation. Vino Farms is also planning to open a custom crush facility to support smaller buyers focused on organic and regenerative farming methods.

Active in community support, Vino Farms contributes to organizations like the Lodi Boys & Girls Club, Relay for Life, and United Way. It also partners with agricultural organizations such as the California Wine Education Foundation and Future Farmers of America to provide resources and education for the industry. Now managed by the fourth generation of the Ledbetter family, Vino Farms continues to maintain its focus on sustainable practices and support for the local wine industry.
